Volume Master is a volume control utility app focused on device volume management. We value and respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

This app does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. All user preferences (including volume locks, theme colors, language settings, etc.) are stored locally on your device only. However, to provide advertising services and data analytics, this app integrates third-party SDKs that may collect non-personally identifiable information such as device identifiers and ad interaction data. Accessibility Service

This app uses the Android Accessibility Service to intercept physical volume key presses for the custom volume panel feature. The service only runs after you explicitly enable it and only intercepts volume key events — it does not read screen content or any personal information. You can disable this service at any time in system settings.

Data Storage

All data generated by the app (volume configurations, theme settings, toggle states, etc.) is stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. Data is only read by this app and is never shared with third parties.

Overlay Permission

The app uses the overlay permission to display the custom volume panel. This permission is only used after you grant it, and nothing is displayed on the screen when the overlay is not in use.

This app integrates the following third-party services:

System Alert Window (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): For displaying the custom volume panel
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): To keep the panel service running in the background
Notification Policy Access (NOTIFICATION_POLICY_ACCESS): To ensure volume adjustments work while Do Not Disturb is active
